HONOR has introduced the new X8d, a smartphone that brings a large battery and balanced specs to users who want a dependable everyday device without 5G connectivity. The X8d is positioned in the mid-range segment with a focus on battery life, display quality, and solid performance for everyday tasks.
It is officially listed in Kyrgyzstan with confirmed specifications and official images.
The phone runs on a 4G-only chipset, which means HONOR chose to skip 5G connectivity. The reason appears to be cost optimization and targeting markets where 5G is not yet a priority for most users. While this may feel like a downgrade for future-proof buyers, it keeps the price point competitive and ensures stable performance on established networks.
The X8d features a large 6.77-inch 1080×2392 AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. This delivers smooth visuals for social media, streaming, and daily navigation without pushing into flagship territory. The screen size and quality make it a good choice for users who watch videos or multitask on the go.
The X8d is powered by Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 and comes in blue, grey, and black.
One of the standout aspects of the X8d is its battery. With a 7,000 mAh cell, the phone promises strong endurance that should easily last a full day under heavy use and even longer with lighter tasks. It includes support for 45 W wired charging, which is respectable for the category, even if it is not among the fastest charging speeds available on the market.
On the imaging side, the HONOR X8d has a dual rear camera setup with a 108 MP main sensor and a 5 MP depth sensor. This camera configuration aims to deliver detailed photos, especially in well-lit conditions. On the front, there is a 16 MP selfie camera for portraits, video calls, and casual self-portraits.
