An inconvenient notification when sending images is likely irritating some users now.
Do you often see an error notification on your Facebook Messenger? Does it say “Your Message Was Not Sent?”
Here, we found that such an error message typically appears when you send an image via Messenger. It may not always occur but when it does, you may think that the image sending has failed.
The “Your Message Was Not Sent” will drop from the notifications shade to show you a problem. However, the image will push through.
The image may not get the blue check immediately during sending. In this case, just go back to the Messenger lobby and re-enter that message thread and you’ll see that check. Keep in mind that the status won’t update if you’re disconnected from the internet.
The error is more an annoyance rather than a real problem. The notification will just go away even if you don’t swipe it. The more important thing is the status.
A blue circle means that the message is being sent, while a blue circle with a check means that the message is sent. If it’s read, the profile picture of the reader will replace the blue circle.
Have you encountered the annoying “Your Message Was Not Sent” recently?
