Huawei reveals the Mate 60, a budget-friendly sibling of the Mate 60 Pro
The Chinese tech giant recently launched Mate 60 Pro, packed with multiple stunning features and specs. Now, its younger kin Mate 60 is showing off what it could give Huawei fans budget-wise. Although it’s slightly lower than Mate 60 Pro, Mate 60 still packs a punch.
First, it has a 6.69-inch LTPO OLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and is protected by Kunlun Glass 2. Second, it has a 50MP wide shooter, a 12MP periscope camera with 5x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide module. Third, it’s powered by a 4,750mAh battery and 66w wired and 50w wireless charging. This ensures you’ve got enough juice for the day and won’t have to wait much to charge up your Mate 60.
You may be wondering, where’s the CPU? It’s assumed that Mate 60 has the Kirin 9000S, which powers Mate 60 Pro too. Not bad if these two share the same processor.
As of now, Mate 60 is expected to feature four colors – black, white, green, and purple – and will have an initial price of ¥5,999 (₱46,664.28). It is now listed on Vmall but shipments will begin on September 17.
Huawei has not yet confirmed any plans for the international release of the Mate 60 series, however.
