HUAWEI has officially introduced the Mate 70 Air in China. This model joins the Mate 70 line with a focus on a slim profile, a big screen, and dependable battery life.
The phone features a large 7 inch AMOLED display. It measures just 6.6 mm thick. The panel supports a 120 Hz refresh rate and a sharp 2760 x 1320 resolution. Worry not about durability because the body carries IP68 and IP69 protection against water and dust.
Despite its slim frame, the Mate 70 Air packs a 6500 mAh battery. It supports 66 W wired charging so users can spend more time unplugged.
Inside, HUAWEI offers two chip choices depending on RAM. The 12 GB RAM model uses the Kirin 9020A processor, while the 16 GB RAM version gets the Kirin 9020B. The phone weighs 208 g.
Photography is well covered. On the back, the main camera is 50 MP with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS. It is joined by a 12 MP RYYB telephoto lens with 3x zoom and OIS, an 8 MP ultrawide shooter, and a 1.5 MP color sensor. The front camera is 10.7 MP for selfies and video calls.
The software is HarmonyOS 5.1 with several AI features. Other features include a side mounted fingerprint sensor, Wi Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.2 with LE, Hi Res audio, NFC, Beidou satellite communication, and reverse wired charging at 5 W.
The Mate 70 Air comes in Feather White, Silver Brocade, and Obsidian Black.

The HUAWEI Mate 70 Air is now available in China.
Prices start at CNY 4,199 (₱34,700*) for the 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage version.
The 12 GB RAM + 512 GB model is priced at CNY 4,699 (₱38,800*).
The top variant, 16 GB RAM + 512 GB storage, costs CNY 5,199 (₱43,000*).
