HUAWEI has officially launched its highly anticipated Mate 80 lineup in China, debuting four distinct models: the Mate 80, Mate 80 Pro, Mate 80 Pro Max, and the highly premium Mate 80 RS Ultimate Design.

The series showcases significant advancements in battery technology and camera capabilities, including a new system with two telephoto lenses on the most advanced models.
The devices are powered by the self developed Kirin chipsets from HUAWEI and run on HarmonyOS 6.
Core Flagships: Mate 80 and Mate 80 Pro
The foundation of the lineup is built on the Mate 80 and Mate 80 Pro, which share a host of powerful components.

Both devices feature a stunning LTPO OLED display measuring 6.75 inches with a variable refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and a high resolution of 1280 by 2832 pixels. HUAWEI claims the panel reaches an industry leading peak brightness of up to 8000 nits and is protected by the second generation Kunlun Glass. Both also pack large batteries with a 5750 mAh capacity.

Key Differentiators:
| Feature | Mate 80 | Mate 80 Pro |
| Processor | Kirin 9020 | Kirin 9030 |
| Wired Charging | 66 W | 100 W |

These two models are powered by the high performance Kirin 9030 Pro SoC and feature an even larger dual layer OLED LTPO display measuring 6.9 inches. They also upgrade the battery capacity to a hefty 6000 mAh, supporting the same 100 W wired and 80 W wireless charging speeds as the Pro model.

The System with Two Telephoto Cameras:
The quad camera setup on the rear of the Pro Max and RS is the highlight, providing unprecedented zoom versatility:
- 50 MP Primary (Variable Aperture, OIS)

The inclusion of two dedicated telephoto lenses, one for close up macro shots and another for long range periscope zoom, positions the Pro Max and RS as leaders in mobile photography.
Mate 80 RS Ultimate Design

The Mate 80 RS Ultimate Design stands out with a unique aesthetic, boasting a redesigned rear panel, a titanium mid frame, and the latest third generation basalt tempered Kunlun glass.
