HUAWEI launches two new tablets – the MatePad Pro 13.2 for global and MatePad Air PaperMatte Edition – both support stylus pens.
Two new tablets have been launched by HUAWEI. The MatePad Pro 13.2 Global and MatePad Air PaperMatte Edition are now officially live on the brand’s website.
HUAWEI MatePad Pro 13.2
Let’s start with the HUAWEI MatePad Pro 13.2 Global Edition. This tablet has a 13.2-inch flexible OLED display with 1920p resolution and 144Hz refresh rate.
The device is powered by the seven-nanometer, 12-core Kirin 9000s CPU, Maleoon 910 GPU, 12/16GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of ROM. Some of the fancy features are the M-Pencil that has pressure levels of 10,000 and latency of zero milliseconds.
Other interesting points include the device’s 10,100mAh battery unit with 88w fast charging, dual-rear camera setup of 13 + 8MP, 16MP selfie sensor, six dual-channel speakers, and a massive graphite cooling area of 52,000 square-millimeters.
HUAWEI MatePad Pro 13.2 Global version has no official PH price yet, but it comes in two variants of 12/256GB and 16/512GB. It’s expected to go on sale in Europe by January 22, 2024.
HUAWEI MatePad Air PaperMatte Edition
The HUAWEI MatePad Air PaperMatte Edition is an 11.5-inch tablet with 1840p resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. It comes with a nano-level anti-glare etching display to eliminate harmful glare to the eyes.
This one is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 CPU, Adreno 660 GPU, 12GB RAM, and 512GB ROM. The device is launched with HarmonyOS 3.1 and supports a stylus pen. It also features an 8300mAh battery with 40w fast charging, four speakers, a single 13MP rear camera, and a single 8MP selfie camera.
HUAWEI MatePad Air PaperMatte Edition is sold in two main options: LTE + Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi only. The official PH price isn’t confirmed yet but the estimated price is around ₱39,100 (EUR 649), excluding taxes and such. The device may arrive in the country this month or January next year.
