The upcoming HUAWEI P70 lineup may launch this month as new leaks have surfaced.
The HUAWEI P70 series appears to have four models, assumed to be P70 Pro+, P70 Pro, P70 Art, and P70. Leaks suggest that the brand wants to use the Kirin 9000S chipset across all four.
But based on what surfaced on Geekbench, there’s a new Kirin processor. Here are the details:
HUAWEI P70 Model Number | Single-Core Performance | Multi-Core Performance |
HUAWEI ALT-AL10 | 1243 | 3840 |
HUAWEI ALN-AL80 | 1348 | 4114 |
HUAWEI MNA-AL00 | 1784 | 4589 |
As seen above, the fourth rumored P70 didn’t appear on Geekbench.
Among these three devices, the ALT-AL10 is believed to be the standard HUAWEI P70, while the ALN0AL80 is likely the P70 Pro. The MNA-AL00 is alleged to be the P70 Art, the alpha of the series.
Another interesting detail is the number of cores on the rumored P70 and P70 Pro. These two devices have 12 cores, hinting at the Kirin 9000S.
This chipset has eight cores but benchmarking tools may see it with 12 cores. The reason is that Kirin 9000S supports multithreading, a feature commonly found on desktops and laptops chipsets.
Meanwhile, the HUAWEI P70 Art only has eight cores configured with one performance core at 3.19GHz, three cores at 2.75GHz, and four cores at 2.02GHz.
As for the other specs, here’s what we know so far:
- Display: 6.58 to 6.76 inches LTPO OLED
- Main Camera: 50 MP
- Selfie Camera: 13 MP
- Memory: 12 to 16 GB RAM, 256 to 512 GB ROM
- Battery: 5,000 mAh
- Charging: 88W wired, 50W wireless
A photo leak revealed that the HUAWEI P70 series may launch on April 2. Take a grain of salt, though.
