HUAWEI has officially unveiled the Pura 90, joining the new Pura 90 series as the standard model. While it may skip the flashy finishes of its Pro siblings, the device counters with a larger battery, slim design, and a full triple-camera setup.
The HUAWEI Pura 90 comes in Snow White, Velvet Black, and Roland Purple color options. It weighs 210g and measures just 7.0mm thin, making it one of the slimmer large-screen phones in its class.
Up front, the phone features a 6.8-inch OLED display with a 2856 x 1320 resolution. The panel uses LTPO technology with a 1Hz to 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and 300Hz touch sampling rate. Protection is handled by Kunlun Glass.
Durability is another highlight, with the Pura 90 carrying both IP68 and IP69 ratings, offering water immersion resistance up to 2 meters and protection against high-pressure water jets.
Under the hood, the smartphone runs on HUAWEI’s 7nm Kirin 9010S chipset paired with 12GB or 16GB RAM. It ships with HarmonyOS 6.1 and comes in 256GB or 512GB storage options.
Battery capacity stands at a sizable 6,500mAh, making it larger than the Pro models in the lineup. Charging support includes 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
For cameras, HUAWEI equips the Pura 90 with a conventional triple rear camera system consisting of:
- 50MP main camera (24mm, f/1.8)
- 50MP periscope telephoto camera (88mm, f/2.2)
- 12.5MP ultrawide camera (13mm, f/2.2)
On the front, the device uses a 50MP selfie camera.
Price and Configurations
The HUAWEI Pura 90 is available in three memory variants:
- 12GB + 256GB – CNY 4,699 (₱41,301*)
- 12GB + 512GB – CNY 5,199 (₱45,706*)
- 16GB + 512GB – CNY 5,699 (₱50,102*)
HUAWEI says the phone is expected to arrive before May 13.
With a slim chassis, flagship charging speeds, and a battery that outmuscles its Pro siblings, the Pura 90 looks like the practical powerhouse of the series.
