Infinix Doubles Down in Mobile Gaming with the launch of the GT 30 Pro

Fresh from the release of the NOTE 50 series, Infinix is shaking things up once again with the release of their latest creation, the Infinix GT 30 Pro.

Launched in Malaysia, the Infinix GT 30 Pro elevates the gaming experience even further by integrating dual capacitive shoulder GT triggers. These triggers promise low-latency input, along with support for remapping and long-press combos, providing a tactile advantage.

At the heart of the GT 30 Pro lies a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate processor, instead of the standard Dimensity 8350 that the NOTE 50 Pro+ has. While the Ultimate doesn’t offer a big leap in performance, it does refine on an already powerful chip.

In gaming, it’s not just the chipset that needs to be at the top of their game, the display needs to deliver as well. And deliver it did, featuring a stunning 6.78-inch LTPS AMOLED display with a crisp FHD+ resolution. To top it all off, the GT 30 Pro possesses a 144Hz refresh rate, translating to an incredibly fluid experience.

For outdoor usage, the GT 30 Pro can go as high as 1,600 nits peak brightness, ensuring clear visuals even in direct sunlight. Protection has also been upgraded with the display being protected by Gorilla Glass 7i.

Gaming can put a lot of strain on the chipset, therefore generating a lot of heat. To combat this, Infinix provides an optional MagCharge Cooler accessory. According to Infinix, the cooler is expected to improve cooling efficiency by 30%, prolonging the longevity of the phone.

Pricing

The GT 30 Pro comes in two configuration, a 12/256GB variant and a 12/512GB one. The 12/256GB variant retails for MYR 1,299 (or ₱16,925.88), while the 12/512GB version goes for MYR 1,499 (or ₱19,531.87).

Infinix is truly banking on its gaming heritage by coming up with banger after banger of quality yet accessible performance-focused smartphones. The only question is: When will it arrive here?
