Infinix Hot 20 Play gets an Indian market release

Infinix fans in India is the first in line to experience the hit Play series, now on its Hot 20 Play edition, what can we expect from it?

Along with the Hot 20 5G, Infinix Hot 20 Play has been announced in India. It has emerged as the Hot 12 Play’s replacement, which became official in May of this year. The Hot 20 Play has a MediaTek SoC in place of the Unisoc processor seen in the preceding model.

The 6.82-inch, punch-hole LCD display on the Infinix Hot 20 Play is enormous. It offers a refresh rate of 90Hz, a touch sampling rate of 120Hz, and an HD+ resolution of 1640 x 720 pixels.

Its front camera is an 8-megapixel one with an LED flash. It has a dual 13-megapixel camera setup with a quad-LED flash on the back. On the device’s back shell, there is also a fingerprint scanner.

The MediaTek Helio G37 CPU, 4 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, 3 GB of virtual RAM, and 64 GB of internal storage power the Hot 20 Play. The phone is powered by an Android 12 OS built on XOS 10 6.0.

The Hot 20 Play has features including aerospace-grade cooling material, Dar-Link Engine 2.0, LinkPlus 1.0, and Erdal Engine 3.0 for a better gaming experience.

It has a sizable 6,000mAh battery that enables 18W USB-C charging. A dedicated microSD card slot, DTS Audio support, and a 3.5mm audio jack are some of the additional features offered by the Hot 20 Play.

The Hot 20 Play costs Rs 8,999 or around PHP6,200 and is available in a 4GB+64GB variant exclusively. It comes in hues including Racing Black, Luna Blue, Fantasy Purple, and Aurora Green.

Starting on December 6, it will be available for purchase on Flipkart in India. But as Infinix grows in the Philippines with a dedicated fan base, it’s only a matter of time before we get a release here.
