Infinix has confirmed that the highly anticipated HOT 50 5G will be officially launched in India on September 6th. The company has also unveiled the device’s design and some key specifications on its official microsite.
Design and Features
The Infinix HOT 50 5G boasts a fresh new look, departing from the iPhone-inspired camera module seen on its predecessor, the Hot 40 series. The device features a vertically arranged camera island on the back and a punch-hole display on the front. The display supports wet-touch functionality, making it convenient to use even with damp fingers.
The phone’s sides are relatively minimalist, with a SIM slot on the left edge and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The bottom edge remains undisclosed. The HOT 50 5G is rated IP54 for water and dust resistance and will be available in black, blue, and green color options.
Specifications
One of the standout features of the HOT 50 5G is its MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. This mid-range chipset ensures a balance of performance and affordability, positioning the device at an estimated price point of around Rs 12,000(~₱8,037.84)
The device will be offered in two RAM variants: 4GB and 8GB. Both models will feature 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. While the battery capacity remains undisclosed, Infinix has confirmed that the HOT 50 5G will have a slim profile of 7.8mm. Other specifications, such as camera details and connectivity options, are yet to be revealed.
