Infinix is leaning harder into flashy smartphone design with its upcoming Hot 70 series. Ahead of launch, the company has started teasing one of the lineup’s standout features: a rear panel that changes color alongside built in RGB lighting.

The new series is officially set to launch globally on May 25.
Based on Infinix’s teasers, the Hot 70 series will feature an RGB halo lighting system integrated into the rear design. The lineup will also use a color changing back panel that appears to react to heat.

The effect reportedly changes the rear panel’s appearance when exposed to temperature shifts, giving the phones a more dynamic look compared to standard finishes.
Infinix is also expected to offer the lineup in bold color variants, including green and orange.
While the rear lighting and reactive panel are new additions, the overall camera layout appears largely familiar.

Teasers show a vertical pill shaped rear camera module similar to the previous generation Hot 60 series lineup.
Last year’s Hot 60 family launched with four different variants, though Infinix has not yet confirmed how many models will be included in the Hot 70 series.
The standard Infinix Hot 70 recently appeared on the Google Play Console, revealing several key specifications ahead of launch.
According to the listing, the base model may use the MediaTek Helio G99 along with 4GB RAM.
The device was also spotted on the FCC certification platform, which revealed that two battery variants are expected for the model.
Meanwhile, the Infinix Hot 70 Pro appeared on the Carlcare Indonesia website.
The listing confirms that the Pro model will support 5G connectivity.
