Infinix has officially launched the Smart 20 in India, strengthening its budget smartphone lineup with a device that focuses on everyday performance, a large display, and practical features. Positioned as the successor to the Smart 10, the new model brings upgrades across several key areas while maintaining a slim profile.
At the front, the Infinix Smart 20 features a 6.78-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a centered punch-hole design. The screen can reach up to 700 nits of brightness in High Brightness Mode and includes Infinix’s Dynamic Bar interface for notifications and status updates.
Powering the device is the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultimate processor paired with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Buyers can choose between 64GB and 128GB eMMC 5.1 storage options, while virtual RAM expansion and microSD card support of up to 2TB provide additional room for apps, photos, and media.
For photography, the Smart 20 comes equipped with an 8MP rear camera accompanied by an auxiliary sensor and a dual-LED flash. On the front, users get an 8MP selfie camera for photos and video calls.
The phone runs XOS 16 based on Android 16 and packs a 5,200mAh battery. Charging is handled via 15W wired charging, while 5W reverse wired charging allows the device to share power with compatible accessories.
Infinix is also packing several features that are uncommon in this segment. These include stereo speakers with DTS audio, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, an infrared sensor, and an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.
Another standout feature is UltraLink offline communication technology, which enables compatible Infinix devices to communicate over distances of up to 1 kilometer without a mobile network connection.
