Infinix to release a phone with 260W charging

Many manufacturers are attempting to surpass the 200W barrier as charging speeds increase month over month, and Infinix is about to release a phone with 260W wired charging

Below is an image of the upcoming Infinix 260W Thunder Charge charger. The charger is placed next to a phone that resembles the Infinix Zero Ultra which launched with 180W charging capabilities.

Infinix is also testing a 100W wireless charging solution. This one will bring a custom-coil design with improved charging efficiency, reduced internal resistance and increased peak power charging time.

According to the source, Infinix will reveal its 260W charging system on March 9 in a week. By the end of the year, Infinix will likely release a phone with a 260W charger.

Once released, Infinix will surpass Realme, as the manufacturer of the phone with the quickest charging speed. Other manufacturers are likely to keep up the power game until phones can quickly recharge their batteries in seconds.
