Apple announced that iOS 18 will be available in the Philippines starting September 17th 1:00 AM. This update will precede the launch of the iPhone 16 series, which will ship with iOS 18 preinstalled. Unlike previous releases, Apple has confirmed that iOS 18 will be available to all supported iPhones on the same day, eliminating any staggered rollout delays.
While Apple Intelligence won’t be part of the initial iOS 18 release, it will be introduced in iOS 18.1, along with iPadOS 18.1 and macOS Sequoia 15.1, in October 29 1:00 AM in the Philippines. However, these features will initially be limited to US English, with expanded language support for Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, and the UK coming in December. Chinese, French, Japanese, and Spanish will be added in the following year.
