During Apple’s far out event, Apple has stated that the upcoming iPhone 14 series(iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max) will purely be using an eSIM which means that there will be no more physical sim cards on the latest iPhones, well at least in the US. But if you check out the Apple’s Philippine website below on their iPhone 14 pro tech specs page, you will be surprised what it still has.

iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max SIM Card options

As you can see Apple still indicates that the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max still has Dual SIM(nano-SIM) support, which is good news for most Filipinos as many have yet to move on to eSIM on their phones. eSIM is not new in the Philippines, Globe and Smart are already offering eSIM services which you can check here for Smart and here for Globe.

Still for many Filipinos, Physical sim cards are crucial and having them on the latest iPhone 14s is good news as there was much confusion regarding eSIM implementation on the latest series.

LOOK! The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus will also have Physical Sim card support.
