iPhone 14 Series: Getting to know the newest iPhones in a glance — and more

After an almost a full year, as per tradition Apple drops another series of iPhones, the 14th edition of it to be exact. Let’s all get to know these new smartphones in town!

At around September 7, 1PM in the US (or 1 AM here in the Philippines), Apple had announced all of its newest products through their livestream that lasted for around one a half hours. Here’s what we know about the iPhone 4 series through the livestream.

Let’s start with the iPhone 14, the regular one. Or should we say, a rebrand of the iPhone 13 Pro? Hmm, maybe?

The iPhone 14.

The iPhone 14 is the base version smartphone for the iPhone 14 series. It has a 6.1 inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, and made with the same Gorilla Glass panels from front to back, with scratch-resistant ceramic glass and oleophobic coating.

iPhone 14 still uses the A15 Bionic Hexa-core chipset from Apple (2×3.23 GHz Avalanche + 4×1.82 GHz Blizzard) with the 5-core Apple GPU taking in charge of the graphics aspect of it. The iPhone 14 is available in three internal storage variants: 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB.

It is equipped with 4GB of RAM. Compared to its Pro cousins, the iPhone 14 still retains the huge notch above, because the pill shaped notch — that’s only exclusive for the Pros. Read more about its quick specs below:
