iPhone 15 Pro Max Camera disappointing leaks revealed!

Some hot-off-the-press leaks about the highly anticipated iPhone 15 Pro Max just just revelaed a mixed bag of surprises and disappointments. The ever-reliable Twitter source @Tech_Reve has spilled the beans, revealing some details about the phone’s camera and display technology.

According to the leaks, the iPhone 15 ProMax won’t be getting a major camera upgrade. The leak suggests that Apple is sticking with the tried and true IMX803 camera sensor, the same 48MP Quad-Bayer sensor found in the iPhone 14 Pro Max. That’s right, no shiny new Sony IMX903 1″ sensor for us. Bummer, right?

It seems like the display tech isn’t getting a significant boost either. The iPhone 15 Pro Max will reportedly continue using the M12 OLED panel technology found in its predecessor. While this display is already top-notch, don’t expect mind-blowing improvements in terms of brightness or other fancy enhancements. It’s a case of “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”

The leak suggests that the iPhone 15 Pro Max will sport some subtle changes. It’s expected to be slightly shorter and narrower than the iPhone 14 Pro Max, but the exact dimensions are still up in the air. So, we’ll have to wait and see just how compact this bad boy is going to be.

Despite all that, there’s some exciting stuff coming our way too! One of the standout features rumored to be exclusive to the Pro Max variant is a periscope telephoto camera. This baby is said to offer a whopping 6x optical magnification.

We also think that Apple might finally ditch its Lightning port in favor of a USB Type-C port. Additionally, the phone should have the powerful Apple A17 Bionic chip, manufactured using a cutting-edge 3nm process. And to complement its processing prowess, the leak suggests that the phone will come equipped with a whopping 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM.
