Apple Intelligence is either a big hit or a big fail, and we’ll get the answer this September.
The upcoming iPhone 16 is predicted as the game changer for Apple this year. It’s expected to change the landscape of mobile phone experience and restore people’s confidence.
Investment firm WedBush expects that the iPhone 16 Series will trigger a super upgrade cycle and end the issues suffered by Apple in China. If you don’t know, the iPhone didn’t do so well in China in the last quarter and it’s due to many factors, including consumer support for Chinese brands.
But how can the iPhone 16 turn things around? AI or Apple Intelligence. Despite the numerous AI-based software from other mobile brands like Samsung, many still perceive Apple as the gatekeeper of AI features.
Here’s what the firm predicts: AI companies will want to work with Apple. The tech giant has 2.2 billion active devices worldwide and those firms must integrate their AI apps to cover that massive consumer base. Once ChatGPT is brought to iPhones, AI developers will follow too!
Everything points to AI revenue or around $10 billion of growth for Apple every year. There are also unspecified monetization opportunities in the long run, including share prices here and there.
It seems like Apple Intelligence is the dawn of this super cycle where users access AI apps and AI developers bring in more as revenue pours in. If Apple and Google reach an agreement, Google Gemini will be on board. This plan may convince people in China to give iPhones another try.
Do you think the iPhone 16 will change the mobile landscape?
