The iQOO 15 Ultra has been spotted on the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) certification database, a regulatory step that’s often seen before devices launch in Europe, Russia, and several neighboring countries. The listing was first spotted by tipster Anvin and hints that iQOO could be getting ready to release the phone outside China in the near future.
The certification includes two model numbers: V2546A and I2603. The V2546A model corresponds to the Chinese version of the iQOO 15 Ultra, while the identity of I2603 remains unknown for now. As is typical with EEC listings, no hardware specifications or launch timeline were included.
Interestingly, the appearance of the Chinese model number in the EEC database suggests the global version could closely match the hardware already available in China.
The iQOO 15 Ultra debuted in China in February 2026 as an upgraded version of the standard iQOO 15, bringing several gaming-focused additions. These include an active cooling fan, pressure-sensitive shoulder triggers, and a larger battery designed for extended gaming sessions.
On the front, the device features a 6.85-inch Samsung M14 8T LTPO AMOLED display with a 3168 × 1440 (2K) resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Powering everything is Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.
Battery life is another highlight. The phone packs a 7,400mAh battery, supported by 100W wired and 40W wireless charging, making it one of the largest batteries currently found in a premium Android flagship.
For cameras, the iQOO 15 Ultra offers a 32MP front-facing camera and a triple 50MP rear camera system consisting of a Sony IMX921 main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and optical image stabilization (OIS).
Other features include Android 16 with OriginOS 6, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance, stereo speakers, NFC, and an IR blaster. In China, the device starts at CNY 5,699 (around US$840 or ₹74,000) for the 16GB + 256GB configuration.
While the EEC certification strengthens expectations of a global rollout, India’s launch is still far from confirmed.
Previous reports suggested that the iQOO 15 Ultra could skip the Indian market altogether, and the latest EEC listing doesn’t change that since the certification only covers Eurasian markets. More importantly, the phone has not yet appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) database, a certification generally required before smartphones can officially launch in India.
At the same time, iQOO has historically brought some of its flagship devices to India months after their Chinese debut, leaving the door open for a possible launch later on. The company has yet to comment on its international rollout plans.
For now, the EEC certification is the clearest sign yet that the iQOO 15 Ultra is preparing to expand beyond China. Whether that expansion eventually includes India and other regions remains to be seen.
As always, certification listings are not official launch announcements, so the final list of supported markets, specifications, and release dates should be treated as unconfirmed until iQOO makes a formal announcement.
