For photography, the iQOO 16 uses three 50MP rear cameras. The main camera has a 1/1.3-inch-type sensor and OIS, while the ultrawide adds autofocus. The 50MP periscope telephoto also has OIS, with 3x optical zoom, 6x lossless zoom, and up to 100x digital zoom. Selfies are handled by a 32MP fixed-focus camera.

The biggest hardware highlight is the 8,400mAh battery, supported by 100W wired and 40W wireless charging. That gives the iQOO 16 considerably more battery capacity than the roughly 5,000mAh batteries still common on many flagship phones.

The iQOO 16 runs Android 17 with vivo’s OriginOS 7. It comes in three color options, roughly translated as Chasing Light, Racetrack, and Legend. Depending on the version, the phone measures between 8.3mm and 8.55mm thick and weighs between 222.5g and 229.8g.

Pricing starts at CNY 5,999, around ₱56,000, for the 12GB + 256GB model. The other configurations are priced at:

16GB + 1TB: CNY 8,499, around ₱79,300

These PHP figures are approximate conversions using a current mid-market rate of about ₱9.33 per CNY and do not include taxes, import costs, or local pricing.

The iQOO 16 is currently confirmed for China, with no official global launch date announced yet. However, iQOO’s previous flagship phones have eventually reached international markets.

With a 2K 165Hz Samsung M16 display, Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, triple 50MP cameras, wireless charging, IP68/IP69 protection, and an 8,400mAh battery, the iQOO 16 is clearly built as a performance-focused flagship with endurance to match.
