The iQOO 16T has appeared in a new leak from Weibo tipster Smart Pikachu, revealing more details about its camera and cooling system. The phone is reportedly being tested with a 200MP main camera and a combination of liquid and air cooling.
The biggest change is on the thermal side. An earlier leak mentioned a built-in cooling fan, while the latest information suggests iQOO could combine the fan with liquid cooling for better heat management during extended gaming and heavy workloads.
iQOO 16T leaked specifications

The 200MP main camera would carry over one of the iQOO 15T’s biggest camera features. However, the 16T reportedly will not add a dedicated periscope zoom camera.
iQOO 16 reportedly takes a different camera approach
The regular iQOO 16 is reportedly being tested with both 200MP and 50MP main camera options.
Current reports claim iQOO has decided to use the larger-sensor 50MP camera instead of the 200MP option.
So, despite being the higher-end model, the regular iQOO 16 could have fewer megapixels on paper than the 16T.
Earlier iQOO 16T leaks
The 16T has already appeared in several reports:
- June: Development of the iQOO 16T was reported, with the phone retaining the large-display approach of the iQOO 15T.
- July: A leak claimed the phone was being tested with a 2K Samsung display, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, and built-in cooling fan.
- August: The latest leak adds liquid cooling to the previously reported fan-based cooling system.

iQOO has not announced the 16T’s launch date. Its final chipset, battery capacity, pricing, and complete specifications also remain unconfirmed.
The iQOO 15T only launched in May, so the 16T may still be some time away from an official announcement.
