The iQOO Neo 11S may have missed its previously rumored July launch window, but a new leak suggests the wait won’t be much longer. According to reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, the performance-focused smartphone is now expected to debut in China sometime in August, bringing a mix of flagship-grade hardware and a relatively affordable price tag.
If the leak is accurate, the Neo 11S won’t be short on power. It’s expected to feature an underclocked MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, paired with a flat 6.78-inch OLED display offering 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Keeping everything running is a battery of around 8,000mAh, backed by 100W fast charging.
The phone is also tipped to include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner and an IP68 dust and water resistance rating, making it one of the better-equipped devices in its segment.
For storage, iQOO is reportedly preparing four configurations:
- 12GB RAM + 256GB storage
- 12GB RAM + 512GB storage
- 16GB RAM + 256GB storage
- 16GB RAM + 512GB storage
Buyers may also get three color choices:
- Light White
- Shadow Black
- Wind Chaser
The Neo 11S is expected to retail for around CNY 3,000 (roughly US$445) in China.
While iQOO has yet to reveal the phone’s camera hardware, the Neo 11S is rumored to be a modest upgrade over the current Neo 11. Because of that, it could carry over the same camera setup consisting of a 16MP selfie camera, along with a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide camera on the back.
Current reports suggest the iQOO 16 series could launch in September or early October, with the iQOO Neo 12.
