Exceptionally unique, the itel A50C delivers premium perks on a budget.
itel quietly launched its newest affordable entry: the itel A50C. But it didn’t escape our illustrious tier list!
The itel A50C is powered by the Unisoc T603, an entry-level chipset. It’s also equipped with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of onboard storage.
For all-day usage, the handset has a 4,000 mAh battery that supports 5 W of charging. Other notable specs include the 6.56-inch IPS LCD with 720p resolution and Android 14 Go Edition. Premium-like perks include a Dynamic Bar and Face Unlock.
Priced at PHP 2,799, we rated this newcomer with “Sakto Lang” and that’s because of some shortcomings. It’s an excellent starter for those moving from a basic or feature phone, but it isn’t recommended for most.
The 2+32 GB is a big concern here. A user must relegate to the lite versions of many social media apps. They may also experience issues when gaming, even light gaming. The battery capacity is less compared to other entry-level models with 5,000 mAh.
Almost a thousand bucks pricier, the realme Note 50 has 4+64 GB storage, two rear cameras, and 5,000 mAh battery with 10 W charging. If you can shell out 4.5K, itel P65 has more to offer like a higher CPU, 4+128 GB storage, and 18 W fast charging.
