The itel A80 is a simple updated version of its past with better color options and new OS and UI.
itel is back with a new A series smartphone in itel A80: an all-rounder entry-level model. It’s powered by the Unisoc T603 processor, which means limited to 4G connectivity.
The smartphone also comes with a large 6.7-inch IPS LCD display, 120 Hz refresh rate, and 720p resolution. Apps are managed by the 4 GB onboard memory and files are stored in the 128 GB storage. The RAM is expandable by up to 4 GB while the storage is expandable by up to 2 TB using a microSD card.
Capture scenes and moments with the 50 MP main camera and selfies with the 8 MP front-facing lens. Use the handset all day with its 5,000 mAh battery and charge it up via the 10 W charger.
The most outstanding aspect of the itel A80 is the design. The bigger screen, punch hole cutout of the selfie camera, and glass-feel polished back definitely stand out.
But we can only rate the itel A80 “Maganda na” due to noticeable shortcomings. For around 4K, it’s stuck in 720p, has the same chipset as its predecessor, and lacks real fast charging capability.
