Display
Well, both displays are generally the same, with almost no differences between them. If you guys are being nitpicky, there is one difference, the display’s PPI. The Itel S23 4G’s display has 269 PPI while the TECNO Spark 10’s display has 267 PPI. Higher PPI means a smoother and a better quality for images. With this, the Itel S23 4G’s display is better by an extremely small margin.
Camera
Regarding with the camera of the two smartphones, it is also somewhat similar. The Itel S23 4G has a camera setup of 50 + 0.3MP rear camera / 8MP front while the TECNO Spark 10 has a camera setup of 50 + 0.08MP rear / 8MP front.
Here are the phone’s sample photos, first will be the Itel S23 4G:
Daylight photo quality is mediocre at best, exhibiting inconsistencies in its computational power, with varied results, dark spots, and slow shutter speed resulting in multiple takes and just the right amount of patience to produce decent photos.
The 50MP rear camera also struggles with night mode as well (using the Super Night mode), producing noisy, grainy images that look like they were taken with a 2010 myPhone device. The QVGA camera isn’t helping as well, as we see no real function to it other than detecting depth.
Portrait shots produce uneven blurring effects, and it’s barely usable at all. Due to pixel binning, the 50MP camera actually produces 12MP photos.
The 8MP selfie camera produces similar results in terms of daylight, night mode, and portrait mode.
Next is the TECNO Spark 10:
The photos from a selfie camera get noisier the less light is available. In order to snap high-quality selfies in low light, we suggested using the selfie camera in well-lit places.
The details are also reasonable, but when there is no sunshine, some colors look awfully washed out, as this plant on the right side demonstrates. Well, the sharpness and detail of its captures are only enough for a low-cost smartphone.
Because there is no night mode, the phone takes terrible images in low light.
Thing is, both cameras are subpar but as you can see with our tests, the TECNO Spark 10 processes the images decently albeit the weak hardware. The Itel S23 4G’s images are just bland and washed.
Operating system
Both Operating Systems are almost the same and offer the same level of function. The best choice for you will depend on your individual needs and preferences. If you are looking for a budget-friendly device with a long battery life and good performance, then ITEL is a good option. If you are looking for a more powerful device with more features and security, then TECNO’s HIOS 12 is a better choice.
Thing is, ITEL’s OS is a bit more efficient because ITEL S23 4G’s processor is a little bit better than TECNO’s. It is also more clean and intuitive.
Performance
The Itel S23 4G sports a Tiger T606 processor, which significantly increases its capabilities over the TECNO Spark 10 which only has a Helio G37 processor. Due to its increased clock speeds, the Tiger T606 is more powerful than the Helio G37 processor and can adequately power the phone for a variety of tasks like gaming and multitasking.
The AnTuTu scores of both smartphones can be seen below: Note that the Itel S23 4G uses the lite version of AnTuTu, even so, it will still be higher than TECNO’s because according to Nanoreview, it scored 178,471.
Itel S23 4G has the edge over TECNO Spark 10 in this regard. It has a better processor and GPU performance.
Price
The Itel S23 4G is Php 1,000(Php 3,899) less than the TECNO Spark 10 which has a starting price of Php 4,999 which is pretty significant for entry-level smartphones.
Conclusion
In conclusion, both the Itel and TECNO phones are great options for budget-minded buyers. The Itel phone has a better processor, display, and operating system, while the TECNO phone has a better camera image quality. Ultimately, the best phone for you will depend on your individual needs and preferences.
If you are looking for a phone with a powerful processor and a large, high-quality display, then the Itel phone is a great choice. The Itel phone also runs on the latest version of Android, which means you will have access to all the latest features and apps.
If you are looking for a phone with a great camera, then the TECNO phone is a better option. The TECNO phone has a dual-lens rear camera system that takes decent photos and videos. The TECNO phone also has a front-facing camera with a wide-angle lens, which is perfect for taking selfies and group photos.
No matter which phone you choose, you can be sure that you are getting a great value for your money. Both the Itel and TECNO phones offer excellent performance and features at an affordable price. BUT! The Itel S23 4G is significantly better for its specs/performance to price ratio.
