Google’s new Career Dreamer is an AI-powered tool designed to help job seekers land on their dream jobs.
Getting a new job these days is difficult for many, especially those who didn’t get a degree – a thing included in qualifications. To help job seekers, Google decided to elevate AI with the rollout of an experimental tool called Career Dreamer.
It essentially connects the dots of the job seeker’s experiences, skills, and interests, among others. The connection helps the job seeker to determine where they have been and where they can go next.
Here are some of the things Career Dreamer can do:
- Shape your professional story: Create a Career Identity Statement to highlight what you can bring to the workforce.
- Explore career possibilities: Discover other career types that may fit to your distinct background.
- Collaborate with Gemini: Draft essentials, such as a cover letter and resume, to increase your odds of getting that dream job.
According to Google, Career Dreamer currently uses US labor market data from Lightcast and the wage data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. But you can give it a try to see if the tool may help your job hunting in some ways even if you’re not in the US.
