Following the launch of the Lava Bold 4G in India earlier this year, Lava is now bringing 5G to the series with the new Bold N2 5G. The latest addition focuses on battery life, display smoothness, and everyday usability while keeping pricing firmly in the budget category.
Up front, the Lava Bold N2 5G features a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display with a notch design and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone also comes with an IP64 rating, offering protection against dust and water splashes.
Powering the device is the octa-core UNISOC T8200 processor built on a 6nm process, paired with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. According to Lava, the chipset is capable of scoring over 500,000 points on the AnTuTu v11 benchmark.
The smartphone comes with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of UFS 2.2 storage, with support for microSD expansion of up to 1TB.
Battery life is one of the Bold N2 5G’s key selling points. The device packs a 6,000mAh battery with support for 18W charging. Lava claims the battery can deliver up to 815 minutes of continuous YouTube playback and up to 743 minutes of total screen-on time on a single charge.
For photography, the phone keeps things simple with a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
The Lava Bold N2 5G ships with Android 16 out of the box and includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.
Other features include dual SIM support, 5G SA/NSA connectivity, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS, and a USB Type-C port. The phone measures 165.85 x 76.8 x 8.75mm and weighs 210g.
Pricing and Availability
The Lava Bold N2 5G is available in Regal Gold and Billionaire Blue color options.
It is priced at Rs. 12,999 (around ₱8,500), but will be offered at a special launch price of Rs. 11,999 (around ₱7,800) when sales begin on Amazon India on June 9.
Lava is also bundling its Free Service @ Home program with the device, allowing customers across India to receive after-sales technical support at home without needing to visit a service center for routine maintenance or troubleshooting.
