A recent rumor surrounding the iPhone 16 launch has been proven false. Tipster Majin Buu had shared a leaked poster on X, featuring the tagline “Ready. Set. Capture,” suggesting a September 10 launch date. However, it has now been revealed that the poster was not created by Apple and does not confirm any specific launch details.
Fun fact: i made the "leaked" Apple Event invite in less than 10 minutes using figma and an Ai generated texture

X user @lorevfx admitted to creating the convincing poster using Figma and AI-generated textures. The poster was intentionally designed to deceive, and the tipster was successfully fooled.
While the authenticity of the poster has been debunked, the potential launch date of September 10 and the inclusion of a capture button on all iPhone 16 models remain unconfirmed.
Based on previous leaks, the capture button is expected to offer enhanced functionality. Users may be able to zoom in and out by swiping left and right on the button surface. Additionally, a two-stage shutter mechanism could provide a more tactile experience, similar to dedicated cameras.
Apple is also working on incorporating new AI features into iOS 18. However, some of these features may require additional development time and could potentially be released at a later date.
