We’re still fresh from the launch (or fiasco, depending on how you look at it) of the Reno14 Series in the Philippines, and already leaks about the upcoming Reno15 Series are making rounds online.

OPPO’s New Size Strategy
The BIG talking point about these leaks? Display sizes.
Currently, the Reno14 and Reno14 F come with 6.59-inch screens, while the Reno14 Pro sports a larger 6.83-inch display. But for the Reno15 lineup, OPPO seems to be experimenting with a small–medium–large setup, with the standard model shrinking down to 6.3 inches.
It’s not really small in today’s standard but in a market ruled by towering smartphones, 6.3-inch seems to be the new “compact” size.
According to well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, OPPO is testing three display sizes for the Reno15 Series:
- 6.3-inch
- 6.59-inch
- 6.78-inch
All of these are expected to feature flat (“straight”) screens, moving away from curved panels.

There isn’t much in the way of specs for the Reno15 Series apart from a disappointing report that the 15 Pro may once again use the MediaTek Dimensity 8450, the same one found on the current Reno14 Pro.
The Reno14 Pro Debacle
If you’ve been following the smartphone scene lately, then you’ll know that the launch of the Reno14 Pro stirred up debates from tech reviewers and consumers alike for coming equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8450 and costing ₱45,999.
At nearly ₱46K, many felt it was overpriced for a phone running the Dimensity 8450. Yes, the Reno Series has always highlighted camera performance, but even so, that price tag is hard to justify when you can buy a brand-new iPhone 15 for the same amount.
Is there hope for the Reno15 Series?
While the Reno14 Pro’s launch left many unimpressed, it’s still too early to dismiss the Reno15 Series. After all, these are just leaks—nothing is confirmed yet.
And as the saying goes (or in the words of Lenny Kravitz): “It ain’t over till it’s over.”
