Lenovo Legion Go S renders and specs leak: AMD Ryzen Z2 chipset, RGH joysticks, more affordable price tag and more

Lenovo’s foray into handheld gaming PCs with the Legion Go was impressive, but it came with a premium price tag. Now, the company is gearing up to launch a more affordable option: the Legion Go S.

A Sleeker Design:

The Legion Go S ditches the detachable controller design of its predecessor, opting for a more traditional handheld form factor similar to the ROG Ally and Steam Deck. It features an 18-button layout with dual joysticks, a D-pad, and a nub-style control.

Powerful Performance:

While the Legion Go S may not match the raw power of the original Legion Go, it’s still expected to deliver solid gaming performance. It will be powered by AMD’s Ryzen Z2 chipset, a step down from the Z1 Extreme found in the first-gen model. However, this should still be sufficient for most gaming needs.

Pricing and Availability:

The biggest draw of the Legion Go S is its more affordable price tag. It’s rumored to be priced between $399 and $449, which translates to approximately ₱23,000 to ₱26,000 in Philippine pesos. This makes it a more accessible option for gamers who want a portable gaming device without breaking the bank.

Stay tuned for more official details on the Legion Go S, including its exact release date and final specifications.
