The upcoming device is currently being promoted in China as the Legion Y700 Unlimited (machine-translated name) and is scheduled to make its official debut this August. While Lenovo has yet to reveal the tablet’s full specifications, the company has confirmed that more teasers will be released over the coming weeks leading up to its launch.

So far, Lenovo has shared a teaser video highlighting the tablet’s redesigned rear camera module. The new design features an updated camera island accompanied by an RGB LED ring, reinforcing the Legion series’ gaming-focused identity.

Although Lenovo hasn’t confirmed the hardware inside the new model, it is expected to build upon the recently launched Legion Y700 (Gen 5), which already offers flagship-level specifications.

The current Legion Y700 (Gen 5) features an 8.8-inch LCD display with a 1904 × 3040 resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, and 800 nits peak brightness. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and is available with 12GB, 16GB, or 24GB of RAM, alongside 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of storage. The tablet also includes a 50MP rear camera, an 8MP front camera, a 9,000mAh battery, 68W wired fast charging, and runs Android 16 out of the box.

At this point, Lenovo has not revealed whether the upcoming Legion Y700 Unlimited will receive additional hardware upgrades beyond 5G connectivity. More information is expected to surface as the company continues its teaser campaign ahead of the tablet’s official launch in August.
