For those who don’t know, Maimang was first introduced in 2013 as a Huawei sub-brand in association with China Telecom and Tencent. It gained recognition for its modern and fresh designs. In order to maintain its operations, Maimang was sold to China Telecom as a result of US sanctions on Huawei. Returning to the Maimang A20 5G, it is an entry-level 5G phone with a 5,000mAh battery, a 50-megapixel rear camera, and the Dimensity 700.
Maimang A20 5G specifications and features
The Maimang A20 5G has a 6.52-inch IPS LCD display that offers a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. On the front, the device features a 5-megapixel camera, and it has a single 50-megapixel camera with LED flash on the back.
The handset is powered by the Dimensity 700 chipset and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 22.5W charging. The device comes with 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage. There is a microSD card slot onboard for additional storage. The phone runs on Android 13 OS.
The phones come with security features like a side-facing fingerprint scanner and face unlock. The device measures 164.28 x 75.8 x 8.94mm and weighs 188 grams.
