Meizu 21 Note leaks: SD 8 Gen 2, 1.5k 144Hz display, 16GB, FlyMe AIOS, 5500mAh battery

In a surprising turn of events, Meizu, which hinted at exiting the smartphone market earlier in 2024, is launching the 21 Note on May 16th. This mid-range phone packs a punch with a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and a massive 5,500mAh battery.

The 21 Note boasts a smooth 144Hz refresh rate on its 1.5K resolution display, even exceeding the specs of its Pro sibling. Users can also choose a whopping 16GB RAM option for multitasking power.

Another intriguing aspect is the all-new Flyme AIOS user interface. This AI-powered upgrade to FlymeOS sparks curiosity, particularly regarding potential seamless connectivity with Geely vehicles through the FlymeAuto interface.

This launch sheds light on Meizu’s future plans, and how Flyme AIOS might play a role in their strategy.
