Mark Zuckerberg’s wealth is majorly tied to Meta Platforms stock.
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is gaining momentum in terms of wealth. He is now the world’s fourth richest person with a whopping personal fortune of $ 201 billion in 2024, from the “meager” $73.4 billion.
Here are the members of the $200 billion club:
- Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and X, at $272 billion.
- Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon, at $211 billion.
- Bernard Arnault, CEO of LVMH, at $207 billion.
- Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, at $201 billion.
Zuckerberg’s fortune is closely tied to the Meta Platforms stock. The share of Meta ballooned by almost 64% this year and will continue to do so, despite some dips from time to time.
Meta shares are influenced by many of its services, including popular platforms Facebook, Instagram, Threads, and WhatsApp.
But Meta AI is expected to be a strong amplifier as the world enters the age of artificial intelligence for mobile devices. Meta AI can easily serve millions of users worldwide, thanks to those platforms.
Although not as close to Zuckerberg, other tech moguls like Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison have been seen with surged net worths this year.
