More details surfaced about the Honor 80 Pro+, now with massive improvements in the selfie section, maybe it’s a bit overkill?
Three Honor 80 variants were previously described by leaker Digital Chat Station: the vanilla, Pro, and Pro+ featuring Dimensity 1080, Snapdragon 778G, and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipsets. The 200MP camera on that last one was intended to be standard.
According to recent information from the leaker, the Honor 80 Pro+ may potentially include a 160MP camera. A 200MP sensor was allegedly present in a Pro+ prototype, but it now appears that the firm has altered its mind. It’s still possible that Honor will change back.
There’s more: DCS, who references the freshly unveiled Sony IMX890 sensor, claims that the Pro+ would have two 50MP cameras on the front. This 1/1.56″ is a replacement for the well-liked IMX766 and has 50.3MP resolution (with a Quad Bayer filter).
In any case, the Pro+ will reportedly include a 1.5K display with a high frequency PWM (1,200 pixels or so horizontal resolution). Additionally, it will charge the battery at the same 100W rate as the previous model.
The Honor 80 series’ unveiling date is unknown at this time. On November 23, the business will debut Magic5, its newest flagship series (two weeks from now). However, it should go live before the end of the year. The 80-series should have a separate launch event later.
