moto introduces the new razr 40 Ultra clamshell foldable smartphone with a 6.9-inch FHD+ foldable LTPO screen and a 3.6-inch FHD+ pOLED cover screen!
More customization options!
motorola just introduced the razr 40 Ultra, the company’s latest foldable smartphone, in China, as it had promised. It has a large 6.9-inch FHD+ internal foldable LTPO pOLED screen with 1-165Hz refresh rate and the largest 3.6-inch FHD+ outer pOLED screen with 144Hz refresh rate.
It keeps the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ SoC from the razr model from the previous year which is not surprising really. There are several ways to customize the bigger cover screen, including the ability to alter the display layout, fonts, colors, theme, and even the size. From the cover screen, you may quickly access a number of programs, including a music player, maps, and more.
The hinge now only has 85 parts and supports the display at angles between 45° and 120°, allowing it to stand independently at different angles. According to the firm, 400,000 opening and shutting tests have been performed.
The phone has more customizable options now and there will be Infinite Black and Glacier Blue variants of the phone. These variants will have Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on the front and back, while the Viva Magenta has a Vegan leather finish. The frame is made of aluminum 7000 series. The phone has a 3800mAh battery and supports both wireless charging and 33W TurboPower fast charging.
Lastly, it will run Android 13 out of the box and come in Infinite Black, Glacier Blue, or Viva Magenta.
