Would you rather have a bigger display with a smaller battery on a foldable phone or vice versa? Well, Motorola seems to be prioritizing the display on their upcoming Motorola Razr+ 2023.
This year promises significant advancements in the world of foldable phones, and Motorola is keen to join the fray. The buzz around the release of the Motorola Razr+ 2023 has been incessant, and it appears the flip device might hit the market soon. Unfortunately, a recent leak has put a damper on the excitement for those eagerly anticipating the gadget’s arrival.
Interestingly though, the company chose to call the upcoming model “plus”. But what does that mean though? Even though there is still no official answer, speculations claim that it could be referring to the bigger out display which has been seen on the leaked renders.
The unexpected turn is that the actual battery is expected to be smaller than that on their previous foldable smartphone. The Razr 2022 merely had a battery enough to power two displays with 3,500 mAh. Contrary to what you would expect, the Motorola Razr+ 2023 is anticipated to have a 2,850 mAh cell. Logically it only makes sense to have a bigger battery with a bigger display.
Think of it, the Galaxy Z Flip4 has a 3,700 mAh, not to mention the Oppo Find N2 Flip’s 4,300 mAh. So the irony of bringing the Motorola Razr 2023 with a “plus” suffix and a smaller battery is unmatched. Fingers crossed, that could be a typo on the alleged Razr+ 2023 allegedly rumored with model number XT2321.
