MPL PH Season 18 Playoffs Heads to PhilSports Arena for MLBB’s 10th Anniversary

MPL Philippines is taking its biggest Season 18 matches to the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City from October 21 to 25, 2026, as part of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang’s 10th anniversary celebration.
The five-day playoffs will decide which Philippine teams will represent the country at the M8 World Championship in Istanbul, Türkiye, in January 2027.
The move to PhilSports Arena marks a major milestone for the local esports scene. Managed by the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), the venue has hosted several international sporting events, including the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix in 2000, the Southeast Asian Games in 2005 and 2019, and the FIBA Asia Champions Cup in 2011.
MLBB is also celebrating its 10th year, with more than 1.5 billion installations and 110 million monthly active users worldwide.
PSC Chairman John Patrick “Pato” C. Gregorio welcomed the tournament and reaffirmed the commission’s full support for esports, especially as Filipino athletes compete in the Asian Games in Nagoya. He also expressed hope that the country’s esports athletes could bring home a gold medal.
Jane Dela Cruz, MOONTON Games’ Esports Head of Marketing for the Philippines, called the venue move a milestone for the league, its teams, and Filipino fans. She said the bigger stage will let fans celebrate the passion and skills of local players as they compete for a spot at the M8.
Bigger Superfan City Festival
Aside from the matches, MPL PH is also bringing a bigger Superfan City Festival with a larger venue and more activities for fans. Visitors can expect partner activations, interactive experiences, exclusive rewards, and community activities throughout the playoffs.
Season 18 also has its largest partner lineup yet. Smart Communications, Inc. returns as the connectivity partner, while Infinix serves as the Gaming Phone Partner. Other Partners in Esports include Clear Men, Joytify, Mi Sedaap, and iColor.
Its Strategic Partners are TT Racing, China Airlines, SIP, Fairrie, and Domo Domo. Visa has also joined as the league’s Official Payment Partner.
Tickets start at ₱200
Tickets went on sale on September 26, 2026, at 6:00 PM, with prices starting at ₱200. Fans can purchase tickets through the official MPL Philippines website at https://ph-mpl.com/tickets. MOONTON advises fans to buy only through the official site.
