New BLU G72 Max with rear scanner and dual cam announced

The new entry level smartphone looks good on the outside but lackluster in the inside. According to the specs, the BLU G72 Max might only be good as a secondary/back-up phone

The BLU G72 Max is equipped with a 12nm 2.3GHz MTK Helio G37 SoC w/ PowerVR GE8320 GPU, paired with a single 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Although it was mentioned that the 5,000mAh battery charges through USB-C, the charging speed is not specified. It has a 13MP primary camera and two additional, unidentified sensors on the camera side while The front-facing camera has an 8MP sensor.

Other features reported include speakers, a 3.5mm audio connection, a back fingerprint scanner and Face ID for security. There are four options for connectivity: 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, and SIM support. It comes pre-installed with Android 12 as the OS.

The device has a dewdrop notch up front and a combination of an Orange rear design and golden frames, in addition to Black and Turquoise colors.

When and how much it will cost were not disclosed by the brand. Based on its hardware, it is obvious that it will be on the affordable side. There is no word for other markets yet.
