New iPhone Fold dummy offers fresh look at Apple’s rumored foldable

New iPhone Fold dummy offers fresh look at Apple's rumored foldable.

New dummy renders are giving us another glimpse at what Apple's first foldable iPhone could look like ahead of its expected debut.

A new dummy unit of Apple‘s rumored foldable iPhone has surfaced online, giving us another glimpse at what the company’s first foldable device could look like.

Shown in a white finish, the dummy reveals a book-style foldable design with noticeably rounded edges compared to many existing foldable smartphones. The color choice also aligns with previous rumors suggesting Apple may keep its first foldable relatively conservative, with silver and darker finishes expected to be available.

On the back, the device features a dual-camera setup housed inside a camera module that resembles the design seen on the rumored iPhone Air. The use of two cameras instead of three matches earlier reports claiming Apple could prioritize a slimmer profile rather than packing in additional camera hardware.

Beyond the design, recent leaks have remained consistent regarding the foldable’s specifications. The device is rumored to feature a 5.5-inch outer display paired with a larger 7.8-inch inner screen when unfolded, and it is expected to be powered by Apple’s upcoming A20 Pro chipset.

Another rumor that continues to surface is the possible return of Touch ID. Reports suggest Apple may opt for a side-mounted fingerprint scanner instead of Face ID, as integrating the full TrueDepth camera system into an ultra-thin foldable design presents additional engineering challenges.

As with any dummy unit, however, the images are based on existing leaks and rumors rather than official Apple information. While they offer a useful preview of the rumored iPhone Fold, the final product could still look different when Apple eventually unveils it.
