Instead of releasing another new smartphone, Nothing will improve on its Phone (1) with big surprises ahead…
Since the business is still concentrating on the Nothing Phone (1), the much anticipated Phone (2) is unlikely to launch anytime soon. The CEO of Nothing provided this bit of information.
Recap: About five months ago, Nothing released the Phone (1). In July, the device made its debut in India with unbeatable launch promotions. Consumer interest in the striking phone from Carl Pei’s firm is still growing.
The Phone (1), one of the most distinctive phones introduced this year, had a transparent back and LED lighting. Additionally, it has respectable hardware and sports respectable specifications. Despite the lack of official confirmation, the Nothing Phone (2) rumor mill is currently in overdrive.
The launch schedule for the Nothing Phone (2) has been clarified by Nothing CEO Carl Pei via his Twitter account. Pei claims that Nothing has no immediate plans to introduce the Phone (1)’s replacement. Evidently, the company is unwilling to shift its emphasis away from the Phone (1).
Phone (2) isn't launching anytime soon. We're focused on doing a few things well, and won't churn out dozens of products a year like many others.

Phone (1) is our main focus. We're cooking something really great in terms of software, Android 13 and beyond.
In keeping with this, Nothing released the Nothing OS 1.1.3 update earlier this year with significant camera enhancements. The top executive also disclosed that Nothing will not be producing many goods every year like other brands, adding that the company intends to execute “a few things well.”
In other words, it’s unlikely that the Nothing Phone (2) will go on sale in 2023.
It is therefore reasonable to infer that the Phone (2) will not go on sale in the first half of 2023. A report from 91mobiles, however, indicates that it may debut later in the year. In July, nothing announced the Phone (1). The smartphone is about to get a stable Android 13 update.
Pei stated that the Phone (1) will get all new software features in the interim. Fast charging and refresh rate are two areas where the Phone (1) performs better than the Google Pixel 6a.
If the long-rumored Pixel 7a materializes next year, we believe the Phone (2) will compete with it.
