Nothing will switch to Snapdragon for its three upcoming models, marking a performance increase

Nothing is gearing up to expand its smartphone lineup with three exciting new models. While initial rumors suggested one of these devices would be the highly anticipated Nothing Phone (3), recent leaks point to a different scenario.

The Nothing Phone (3a) Series:

  • Nothing Phone (3a): This upcoming device is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, marking a departure from the MediaTek processors used in previous models.
  • Nothing Phone (3a) Plus: A slightly more powerful variant, the (3a) Plus is likely to feature a more advanced chipset, potentially the Dimensity 7350 Pro or a newer MediaTek offering.

The Mysterious A001:

The third device, codenamed A001, remains shrouded in mystery. While it could potentially be the Nothing Phone (3), it’s more likely to be the CMF Phone 2, a device aimed at the budget-conscious segment.

Expected Launch Timeline:

Given the launch timeline of the Nothing Phone (2a) in March, it’s reasonable to anticipate the release of the (3a) series in the coming months, possibly around Q1 or Q2 of 2025. As for the Nothing Phone (3), it’s more likely to debut in the second half of 2025.
