Leakers have literally ate and left no crumbs…
Given that almost all, if not all, of the information regarding Nothing’s upcoming phone has been extensively covered by leakers, there’s already no point for Nothing to hold the event, apart from officially releasing the price for the two phones.
What’s different this time?
Recently, even better, more detailed renders have come up showing the Nothing Phone (3a) and (3a) Pro’s design. While the front for the two devices remains the same, Nothing has opted to differentiate the Pro with a new camera layout.
Instead of positioning the camera lenses horizontally, housed in a pill-shaped island, the Pro debuts a distinctly unique design. I can’t really describe how it’s positioned, so I’ll just show it instead.

With Nothing’s track record of a no-nonsense approach to making phones, we think that aside from the aesthetic standpoint, the new camera layout was done to accommodate the 50MP periscope telephoto lens, which the standard version doesn’t have.
The renders also confirm the existence of the speculated camera button. However, it’s positioned a little bit higher, making it awkward to use, especially for individuals with smaller hands.

Is that it?
There’s really not much of a difference between the two, except for the previously mentioned camera layout, memory and storage configurations, higher selfie megapixel count for the Pro, and weight.
Both devices will feature the same 6.77-inch 120Hz LTPS AMOLED display with Panda Glass protection, powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 and a 5,000 mAh battery.
It remains to be seen if people will still buy the Pro version, given the miniscule difference between the two. If the rumored prices are to be believe, that’s a $55 upcharge for a telephoto lens and a redesigned camera layout.
How ‘bout you? Is it worth spending extra for a camera upgrade?
