Yep, you’ve read that right, the deemed OnePlus 11 ‘Pro’ will be called as just the OnePlus 11. Yay, thanks rockstars of the smartphone industry, oNePlUs.
As the year comes to a close, there has been various leaks about the upcoming flagship devices from smartphone makers, which usually go on sale towards the end of the year or at the beginning of the next year.
Now, the most recent leak offers intriguing information about the OnePlus 11 Pro, which may only be the standard 11 model.
The Chinese smartphone manufacturer introduced the OnePlus 10 Pro earlier this year as its first premium model, never releasing a base model. But according to a recent claim, the company will introduce the OnePlus 11 this year.
However, this model will have excellent specifications and features that you may generally see on a Pro edition or perhaps the OnePlus 11 Pro. Max Jambor, a reputable tipper, revealed the information on Twitter by writing, “The future OnePlus Pro model is called OnePlus 11.”
In other words, for at least the first part of next year, the base 11 model will probably serve as the brand’s genuine flagship vehicle. Therefore, one of the models will be missing, same like last year, but this year it’s the OnePlus 11 Pro model.
At this moment, the introduction of the next high-end smartphone is anticipated to coincide with that of the 10 Pro model in 2022. So, a launch in January 2023 can be expected.
OnePlus 11 may also be the first flagship device for 2023 to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, in addition to this.
After this, the 11 Pro could debut with the upgraded Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 chipset in the second half.
