OnePlus has officially launched the OnePlus 15 in China, introducing a new wave of flagship power and design refinement. The launch gives a clear glimpse of what the global version might look like once it rolls out in other markets soon.

The OnePlus 15 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, Qualcomm’s latest and most powerful chip to date. It comes with 12 GB or 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.1 storage.

Its 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display features a sharp 1.5K resolution and a smooth 165 Hz refresh rate. Battery life also gets a big boost with a 7,300 mAh dual-cell battery. Charging is equally impressive with 120-watt wired charging and 50-watt wireless support.

OnePlus has refreshed the design of the OnePlus 15, moving away from the circular camera module seen in previous models. This time, it uses a square camera island that carries three 50-megapixel sensors: the main shooter, an ultra-wide, and a periscope telephoto lens with about 3.5x optical zoom.

It also has an IP69K rating, meaning it is built to withstand dust, heat, and high-pressure water jets, making it one of the most durable flagships this year.
