The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro is rumored to be the first of its kind to have a periscope telephoto lens.
OnePlus has already geared up another device powered by the next-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. It belongs to the OnePlus Ace 5 Series, which may be unveiled in the last quarter of the year in China.
Two models are included in this series: the OnePlus Ace 5 and OnePlus Ace 5 Pro. Both are considered flagships, thanks to their chipsets.
The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro is reportedly powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 while Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for the base OnePlus Ace 5. They are also equipped with a 50 MP Sony IMX9 camera, which has 1/1.56” sensor size. But the Pro may feature a periscope telephoto lens – a first on the OnePlus Ace lineup.
The series is expected to have the following as well:
- X2 OLED by BOE
- Flat panel design
- 1.5K display resolution
- 120Hz
- Glacier battery developed by OnePlus and CATL
- 6,000mAh battery capacity
- 100W rapid charging
The OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro may be announced in December or early next year. The OnePlus 13 will feature the new Qualcomm chipset first.
