More details about the upcoming OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra have emerged as the device continues to be teased ahead of its official debut. Positioned as the top-tier model in the Ace 6 lineup, the Ultra variant is expected to launch soon, following last year’s Ace 6 and Ace 6T.
Recent images confirm that the phone adopts OnePlus’ current design language, featuring a squircle-shaped camera island placed in the top-left corner—consistent with the rest of the Ace 6 series. The device also appears in a new “Ace Awakening” colorway, which blends dark tones with 3D etched patterns forming the Ace branding.
In China, the Oppo online store has already listed a “coming soon” page for the device. Early reservations are open for a symbolic CNY 0.01 fee, with incentives worth CNY 426, including a 20W Oppo power bank, a two-year battery warranty, and a one-year extended warranty.
The device was recently showcased by Li Jie, President of OnePlus China, further confirming its near arrival.
One of the more notable design changes lies in the phone’s metal frame. Instead of simply dissipating heat outward, the frame is designed with heat insulation to redirect heat away from the user’s hands. The goal is to improve comfort during extended use, with heat likely being dispersed through the display and rear panel instead.
While full specifications are yet to be officially confirmed, leaks suggest the Ace 6 Ultra will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset and feature a 6.8-inch BOE display with a 165Hz refresh rate. It is also rumored to pack a large 8,500mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging.
For comparison, its predecessor, the Ace 5 Ultra featured a 144Hz display, a Dimensity 9400+ chipset, and a 6,700mAh battery. Meanwhile, the standard Ace 6 and Ace 6T models opted for Qualcomm chips, specifically the Snapdragon 8 Elite and Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, paired with 7,800mAh and 8,300mAh batteries, respectively.
The OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra is expected to be fully unveiled by the end of the month, although an exact launch date has yet to be announced.
