OnePlus has announced that the Ace 6T (Turbo) will be launched later this month in China, and it’s making a serious bid for the performance crown. The headline: it will be powered by the brand-new Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, and OnePlus claims it’s optimized for gaming, battery life, and raw speed.

What makes the Ace 6T special
OnePlus’ own leadership says this phone is built to handle 165 Hz gameplay, thanks to a “gaming kernel” they co-developed specifically around the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. Leaks also suggest a large 8,000 mAh battery with 100W fast charging, meaning gamers and power users should be able to push hard without worrying about running dry.
The display reportedly measures 6.7 inches, uses OLED, and supports a 1.5K resolution with a 165Hz refresh rate. For cameras, rumors point to a 50 MP + 8 MP rear setup and a 32 MP front shooter. Other features include a metal frame, in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, dual speakers, NFC support, and a special edition tied to Genshin Impact.
This launch could be a turning point for OnePlus: being one of the first to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 gives it a serious performance edge. The massive battery + fast charging combo makes it ideal for gamers or anyone who uses their phone hard.
