The OnePlus Ace 7T may still be a long way from launch, but a new leak is already revealing some eye-catching specifications, most notably what could become the largest battery ever fitted inside a OnePlus smartphone.
Just weeks after the OnePlus Ace 7’s specifications surfaced online, the rumored Ace 7T has now received the same treatment. As its name suggests, the device is expected to succeed the OnePlus Ace 6T, which debuted in December last year.
According to the latest leak, the OnePlus Ace 7T is currently in development and could feature a display with 1.5K resolution and an unusually high 185Hz refresh rate. If accurate, that would make it one of the fastest smartphone displays on the market.
The bigger headline, however, is its battery. The leak claims the Ace 7T will pack a massive 10,000mAh battery, a capacity that would not only dwarf most flagship smartphones today but could also become the largest battery ever seen on a OnePlus device.
Powering the phone is said to be Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 6 chipset. The report specifically notes that this refers to the standard Snapdragon 8 Gen 6 rather than the rumored Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 variant.
Since the chipset itself has yet to be officially announced, the OnePlus Ace 7T is unlikely to arrive anytime soon. For now, details about the device remain limited, and OnePlus has yet to confirm its existence.
Still, if the leak proves accurate, the Ace 7T could be shaping up as one of the more ambitious smartphones in OnePlus’ lineup, combining an ultra-high-refresh-rate display with a battery capacity that pushes well beyond current flagship standards.
